¿Cómo están?
In the southern hemisphere, we are in summer during December, January and February. In Chile, we receive tourists from all over the world who enjoy the wonders of our country from north to south. According to data from the National Tourism Service (SERNATUR), the highest flow of air passengers is in January and corresponds to 1,821,782, according to the 2022 figure.
So, as every year, to protect both our tourist attractions and the tourists who visit us, SERNATUR has published this “Responsible tourist code of conduct”, which we will use not only to learn and practice Spanish but also to be informed in case you want to visit the country.
In this post, you will learn tourism vocabulary and recognise some verbs in the imperative mood. Then, we will practice with phrases related to the “decalogue of the responsible tourist”, and at the end, I will leave you some questions that you can practice with your teacher and/or friends.
